1. Death and Resurrection Prophecy to Christ (Mt 16:21)
    Isa 53:12, Ps 22:16, Ps 16:10, Ps 49:15, 1 Cor 15:3-4

Jesus told His disciples that He would suffer, be killed, and be resurrected three days later. (Mt 16:21)

Mt 16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

The Old Testament prophesied that Christ would die for the sins of many. (Isa 53:12)

Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Also in the Old Testament it was foretold that Christ would suffer and die. (Ps 22:16)

Ps 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Also in the Old Testament it was foretold that Christ would rise from the dead. (Ps 16:10, Ps 49:15)

Ps 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Ps 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

Jesus is the Christ who died according to the Bible and rose again according to the Bible. (1 Cor 15:3-4)

1 Cor 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
