- I may rejoice in the day of Christ. (Phil 2:16)
2 Cor 1:14, Gal 2:2, 1 Thess 2:19
Those to whom we have preached the gospel and have come to believe that Jesus is the Christ are our pride in the day of Christ. Our lives should not be in vain without this pride.
Phil 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
2 Cor 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our’s in the day of the Lord Jesus.
1 Thess 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
Gal 2:2 And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
