1. God’s Son, Jesus (Heb 1:2)
    Mt 16:16, Mt 14:33, Heb 3:6, Heb 4:14, Heb 5:8, Heb 7:28

Jesus is the Son of God. (Mt 14:33, Heb 1:2, Heb 4:14)

Mt 14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Heb 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Jesus, the Son of God, came to this earth to accomplish the work of Christ. That is why we call Jesus as Christ. (Mt 16:16, Heb 3:6)

Mt 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Heb 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

In obedience to the word of God, Jesus accomplished all the work of Christ by dying on the cross. (Heb 5:8, Heb 7:28, Jn 19:30)

Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Heb 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Jn 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
