1. Christ, Shepherd and Guardian of our souls (1 Pt 2:25)
    Isa 40:10-11, Ezk 34:23, Jn 10:11,14-15

In the Old Testament, it was foretold that Christ would be our true Shepherd and lead us. (Isa 40;10-11, Ezk 34:23)

Isa 40;10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Ezk 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Jesus is the true Shepherd, the Christ, who gave himself up to save us. (Jn 10:11,14-15, 1 Pt 2:25)

Jn 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

1 Pt 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
