    Jn 14:6, Rom 3:25, 1 Jn 4:10

In the Old Testament, God met the Israelites at the mercy seat of the tabernacle. (Ex 30:6)

Ex 30:6 And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

Now, Jesus is the way to meet God. (John 14:6)

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus justified us by offering Himself as a propitiation to God for our sins. (Rom 3:25, 1 John 4:10)

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
