1. Teach your children the God and Christ who guided us
    (Jos 4:6-7)
    Jos 4:21-22, 2 Tim 3:15, Ex 12:26-27, Deut 32:7, Ps 44:1

In the Old Testament, God commanded the people of Israel to teach them about the salvation that God had given them. (Jos 4:6-7, Jos 4:21-22, Ex 12:26, De 32:7, Ps 44:1)

Jos 4:6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones?
7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were cut off: and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever.

Jos 4:21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean these stones?
22 Then ye shall let your children know, saying, Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.

Ex 12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

Deut 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

Ps 44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.

We must teach our children through the Old and New Testaments that Jesus is the Christ who saved us. (2 Timothy 3:15)

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
