- Christ, the Horn of Israel (Ezk 29:21)
Ps 132:17, Lk 1:68-69
In the Old Testament, God said that He would raise up a man from David’s descendants who would show God’s power so that people would come to know God through him. (Eze 29:21, Ps 132:17)
Eze 29:21 In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Ps 132:17 There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.
Jesus is the Christ, the descendant of David, who came to save the people of Israel. (Luke 1:68-69)
Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
