1. God’s Holy Covenant to the People of Israel: Christ (Mic 7:20)
    Gen 22:17-18, Gal 3:16, 2 Sam 7:12, Jer 31:33, Lk 1:54-55,68-73,

In the Old Testament, the prophet Micah spoke of God’s faithful fulfillment of the holy covenant he made to the people of Israel. (Mic 7:20)

Mic 7:20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

The holy covenant God made to Abraham in the Old Testament was to send Christ. (Ge 22:17-18, Gal 3:16)

Ge 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

In the Old Testament, God promised to send Christ as a descendant of David. (2 Samuel 7:12)

2 Samuel 7:12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.

In the Old Testament, God promised to write His Word in our hearts. (Jeremiah 31:33)

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

God sent Christ, the holy covenant he made to the people of Israel, to this earth. That Christ is Jesus. (Luke 1:54-55,68-69,70-73)

Luke 1:54 He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
55 As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
